The Witcher: Enhanced Edition on Linux (Proton)

While the first The Witcher game seems to be in the shadow of its successors, it is a great RPG with charismatic NPCs and interesting quests.
The only problem it has is awful controls (by modern standards). But, if you’re an old school RPGamer, it won’t be that difficult because The Witcher was made on Aurora Engine, which makes the controls pretty similar to Neverwinter Nights.
The game works very well on Proton and doesn’t need any tweaks.
Though, if you’re planning to play it on modern hardware I suggest using some mods I mention below that will make your experience more pleasant.

My specs are:

Distro: Manjaro
Proton: 5.0-7
CPU: Intel Core i7-8700K @ 3.70GHz
