How to RUN D Programs in Linux Terminal | For all Debian and Arch Computers

In this video, I’ll walk through, how we can compile and run D programs in linux terminal. I have talked about the use of GDC compiler, as well as DMD compiler which is the official D language compiler.

Time Stamp:
gdc: 0:30
dmd: 3:00

In order to install snap on Debian based systems, type in
sudo apt install snapd

For ARCH/Arch-based users, you do not need to install snap to install DMD. It is available in the AUR.

In order to install dmd for Arch, type in
sudo pacman -S dmd

 In order to install gdc for Arch, type in
sudo pacman -S gdc
