How to automatically turn on Keyboard LED on Linux



Here’s a quick tutorial on how to make your keyboard LEDs light up at login. This should work on any linux distro such as Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, Arch, Manjaro, Kali, Mint, Elementary, etc…

filename: keyboard_led.sh
#!/bin/bash
xset led on

filename: keyboard_led_on.desktop
[Desktop Entry]
Name=Keyboard_LED_ON
Exec=/home/YourUserName/.config/keyboard_led.sh
Terminal=false
Type=Application
StartupNotify=false
