Best Windows 10 & NVCP Settings For Gaming Performance



Here are some quick & easy tips that will help you get extra FPS out of your system.

– Change settings in NVCP for each game under Program Settings tab and not under Global Settings tab. On the Global Settings tab set Power Management Mode to Optimal and Texture Filtering to High Performance. Non-game applications on your PC (like Spotify, Word, Excel) don’t need the extra power.

– Set Texture Filtering to Quality, Performance, or High Performance and not High Quality in NVCP for each game. This setting has the biggest effect on FPS.
